KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 3 (Bernama) -- Malaysia Airlines' "Everyday Low Fares" is back promising very attractive low fares and flexible travel dates between November 2009 and September 2010.

The domestic and global promotion, beginning Monday, offers low fares to favourite Malaysian destinations and more, the airline said in a statement here Saturday.

"It will only cost RM368 to Hong Kong, RM400 to Taipeh, RM649 to Perth and RM951 to Melbourne.

"For London and Europe, it's only RM1,228 to Amsterdam, Paris, Rome and Frankfurt while London is a steal at RM1,248," the statement said.

The low fares are now available at www.malaysiaairlines.com until Oct 10, 2009.

Malaysia Airlines Senior General Manager, Network and Revenue Management, Dr Amin Khan said more people are travelling with MAS as the airline's fares were very competitive and came with value added services.

"Travel has picked up significantly to favourite Malaysian destinations such as Melbourne and London so much so that we are experiencing almost full flights," he said.

To provide customers with more convenience and travel options, Malaysia Airlines has increased its flight frequency to Tawau, Sandakan, Sibu, Seoul and Taipei.

Beginning Oct 28, the flight frequency to Colombo will be increased to five times a week.

For travel closer to home, travellers will be able to enjoy RM79 fares for flights within West Malaysia and RM109 from West to East Malaysia.

The low fares are only available online on a first-come-first-serve basis and seats must be purchased at least 30 days before departure.
